Paul, sorry to leave a support message here. But, I literally can not access any service using a redirect (including the pm and new thread buttons). I am getting the following message when I click many links in the gathering:

Too many redirects occurred trying to open “http://www.powwows.com/gathering/sho...php&p=1346039”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.

I am running Safari 4.0.4 on Mac OS 10.5.8
