One more thing off the list...

Ok, so I'm bringing my dress into the circle on Labor Day weekend. This weekend, I think I got a lot of the wrinkles ironed out for that weekend. Yay! Finally, everything is falling into place. I know which drum (hopefully) will be singing my special. I know what day we're feasting my dress and what day I'm dancing. And to top it off, I just found out one of my "sisters" is bringing her dress into the circle just two weeks before me! I'm starting to get nervous and excited at the same time. This weekend was the first time I'd saw a lot of my powwow family since last year so none of them knew of my decision to dance jingle and they gave me so much support this weekend it wasn't even funny.

Thanks to all of you girls for all your help in leading me in the right direction. I am very nervous about dancing by myself, so I am doing only one circle around the arena and then asking all other jingle dancers to join me. Small powwows = very few jingle dancers. So hopefully it isn't just me and my sissy. If any of you fellow jingle dancers will be in the Gallipolis, OH area on Labor Day weekend or could make it, I would love to have the support there!

Im not a jingler, but, will be at Gallipolis (im a fancy shawler) my boyfriend will be the emcee for this event. You will have my support for your first time jinglin'. I'll see if I can contact some of my jingler friends and see if they are coming or not. Look forward to meeting you and seeing you dance.

No my dress isn't finished so I hadn't planned on dancing but that would be awesome if you let me borrow your cloth dress, i'll PM you about it.
