Question Skirt Lining?

I was wondering what kind of cotton you guys used to line your satin skirts with? I 've always doubled my skirts so I was just wondering how you did yours?

Well I do not usually line my skirts because I make them with an attached underskirt. So I dont see the need to line.

I don't line my skirts either.

If you use the heavier weight bridal satin instead of costume satin, you should be fine without a lining.

I like to line mine with a cotton. I think lining a dress makes it hold up better and last longer.

I always do an underskirt/dress too. I have lined dresses before. In the past I've used an old sheet or muslin.

If you are looking at lining the satin dress, then I would think just a broadcloth, cotton type lining. It'd be cool temperature wise too. Satin dont breathe in the heat.

Yes, I use broadcloth to line my dresses and for the underskirt.
