I'm trendy, right? right?! RIGHT?! WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT?!? *sigh* lol I haven't really noticed the beginnings of any new trends. Someone really needs to make some sort of Native or Powwow Cosmo-girl so we can keep up with these sort of things. hahaha I'd like to hear what the hipper young dancers have to say! :p

to late mom, i gots lots of ideas....jewels, and gem, and studs, and rhinestones, and embroidery, and ooh.......
realistically,in the future, i could see somebody tinting or dying cones to match the fabrics..hehe, blue cones, i oculd see that happenig eventually...whether its right or not, i dont know, but....it would look kinda cool... but i guess htat probably wont happen untill next year... at the earliest... |

I have been making more old style dresses lately...using calicos and solid cotton blends. The satin is nice but the cottons look so pretty with some nice satin ribbon to accent.

To address Princess's remark, I've actually been thinking of doing something like that to my daughters dress she wants to be different than everyone else so I've been thinking of ways I can do that and it be exceptable. So me and my husband where talking his in construction and a crafter, and he was telling of some things I could do to change the color of the jingles without missing up the way they sound. I just have to deside if I want to do it that's going to be time consuming. If I do it and anyone wants to know how it turned out let me and I'll post a thread about it.

I was looking for some new trends at Denver March. Pretty dresses, but nothing new. I did see a nice dress for sale with those hanging coins along with the jingles.
I've seen blue cones. How about holographic ones?? A single perfect row sounds cool. Pencil thin.
