Eye idea

Some dancers like to put a little paint or decoration on the outside corners of their eyes. I sweat a lot so I can't wear paint without smearing it. Then the other day I got an idea for an easy alternative....

I have some Hindu friends from India. These ladies often wear small stickers on their foreheads between the eyebrows. These self-adhesive "bindis" come in a zillion shapes and colors. I think these bindis would make great decorations for the eyes. You can get a card of five or more of them for like $1. They are also reusable.

Could be that someone has already discovered this idea but I have not seen it on anyone yet. Maybe I'll start a new trend, lol!

Wish I had a digital camera so I can show you what I'm talking about......

My daughter has used those body rhinestones and has cut them to do a pattern she likes.

Wouldn't the color and design signify from which particular tribe it came from? I'm not too familiar but I do know that the Crow girls use red lines.

Good one! Hahaha!

As for the eye stickers, well, I must be out of the loop on that. Even so, it doesn't sound like it caught on in popularity.

...Rhinestones by the eyes were all the rage over this way for a minute there. But if your worried about your paint running on ya...U could try Fabric paint. I know a few folks who've used it for years, and it just peels right off when your done. I know regular paint can be sort of a pain to remove, especially when your campin or something and dont have a sink...

really i put a little make-up in the corner of my eyes and you are right..the paint tends to wear off so i always re-apply before and after so it don't look rugged!!
