I'm going to make a choker and drop for my friend, BUT she has super sensitive skin.
I'm worried that the choker w/ drop will iritate her skin when she dances. Any ideas about how to make it for a super-sensitive gal like her?? special kinda backing or less weight...?? thx e- |

Did your friend give you any idea about the kinds of things that irritate her skin?? Or something that triggers allergies??
I'd probably just make sure to pre-wash your materials (foundation and backing) and use some kind of tie in the back that wouldn't be irritating to her skin. I don't think you could do too much about the weight. Maybe try to fill in a lot of space by using other things such as abalone shells, or mirrors, or rhinestone trim or something. |

I think a lot of sweat will iritate her skin. she's a traditional dancer now...so she doesn't sweat all that much...hmm.
that's a good idea about rhinestones and abalone shells.... I worked out a design last night...so i think i can start on it i'm going to the nike store to get some dry-fit material that i can rip up...I think i'm going to use a combo of the dry-fit material and ndn tanned buckskin for the backing jeez..maybe i'm thinking about this too much.lol:) thx for ur help Redfringe!!! |

i know this might be kinda late and all, but i have sensative skin and nothing else seems to work for the choker but satin so i've used a sheer ribbon for the choker and satin for the backing on the drop (i glued them on the back)
