I hope this is a subject we can discuss. I'm not sure of the etiquette....

I've heard some say that once you have 'the dream' of being a jingle dress dancer, that you must dance jingle. I've heard some say that you have to have 3 (or 4?) dreams. I've also heard that once you are 'called on' to be a jingle dress dancer, then that must be the style you always dance.

Anyone have any insight into this?

I have a 9-year old who dances jingle because she had a dream. She's actually had 2 dreams that I know of, so I'd like to teach her what's right with it.

She already knows that by dancing jingle, she has accepted the responsibility to dance for those whom prayers are requested, and to send those prayers to the Creator.
