Hi
My name is Ruby and i am from Standing Rock and i live in North Dakota. I am new here and am wanting to learn more about my heritage and culture. I have just connected with my bio-family, i have ten brothers & sister. I am a mom of 4 kids- 3 daughters & a Son, Ima gramma to 2 grandsons, 1 grandaughter and another grandaughter on the way. I have attended my
4th Pow-Wow ever in Grand Forks last weekend the Annual Time-Out Wacipi @ UND and i do beadwork and crafts. I want to give back to the community and am in long term recovery from addiction. My plans are to attend college to major in addiction studies and help those who suffer from alcoholism and addiction. I hope to meet new people and build on friendships. I am very genuine and care about people, my friends and family. My relationship with the Creator comes before anything, afterall, He is who gave me a second chance at building a new life for myself and those who are a part of my life. I am open to suggestions and am very open-minded and honest. So, with that, i will be checking out the website and see whats happening. I just uploaded 3 videos of the Grand Entry on Youtube and my username is the same. So stop by and check them out and leave your comments. Have a wonderful day.  People around here are pretty cool. Just watch out for that one guy called stillrezin. Claims to be Lakota from Montana. But he's really Cherokee from New Mexico. NEwayz...glad you found the place.
