Well it's 3:30 in the morning and a full moon. I've been up listening to the coyotes crying in the distance and enjoying this bright, cool night. The air smells clean and crisp and the damned noise of the traffic off the highway seems quiter tonight...thank GOD!!

I decided to join the Powwow Forum because I had some deeply spiritual experiences a few weeks ago during, for lack of a better word, a spirit walk through Oklahoma. I was traveling through the state searching for lakes whose boundaries were not made by man. Old lakes that have been here since before my grandfathers time. Sadly this is not an easy task!! Any help in this matter would be appreciated!!

Anyway, I was travelling through Oklahoma talking to the Choctaw blood that flows in my veins. It's always spoken to me, and I've listened, but this time I wanted to speak to it. I'm only 1/4 Choctaw so the voices are quiet and often go unheard, but on this occassion the voices were very clear. It all made sense. But I travelled alone, looking for that lake that came to me in a dream. You probably think I'm crazy, but I was being called by fish...

The dreams I was having kept getting more intense and vivid. Always I was in the water singing. And on the shore were Choctaws, full blood, watching me swim. I would try to swim to them but when I looked down I was a FISH!! How could I go with them?! So I would swim around with the other fish and dreamed of legs like a man. I wanted so bad to walk with the Choctaw and speak to them but I was trapped as the fish. What could this mean?

I hope to find some answers here at this forum and continue my journey. The fish in my dreams demand it!
