Hi everybody,
I joined this group so I could learn about PowWows. I see there's more to learn here than just that!
I'm 1/8 Cherokee, (no princesses or chiefs in my family, lol), and 1/8 Blackfoot. I'm trying to go back in my mom's history to find out whether it is Blackfoot Lakota or Blackfoot Nation. I'm also Irish, so, yes, I'm white. I've been reading through the threads, especially about white people. I can only speak for myself - I know too many whites that act just like you all say - but I'm not wanting to be an NDN, not wanting to p*ss anybody off in any way, I just like learning about NA cultures.

I realized after I reread my post that I said I was Irish. What I meant was, I'm part Irish, or that my ancestry is Irish.
I'm not from Ireland, so I don't want to sound misleading.:duhh:
