Even if you wanna believe that no one would lie to you to get in your pants, they just might not know. How many folks out there know someone who was being cheated on and didn't know it?
I plan to teach both my kids the importance of condom use (and yes I have a boy and a girl). I figure it is like self defense cause we all need to know how to protect ourselves, even if we never have to use it (monogamous partnership).

I have to argee that pow-wows have health booths!!! Native people need to get out and get tested!!!! HAY AIDS & STD's are in INDIAN COUNTRY! Thr is a lot of natives who don't know about safe sex and how to protect themselves. plz go to nearest testing place and get tested! Everyone should be tested every three to six monthz for AIDS and STD's. STAY SAFE!!! Use protection everytime you have sex and get educated on all current information on AIDS & STD's...

I saw young people from all walks of life and the whole Crayola Box. STD's aren't going away folks. Even if you don't believe in them, they definitely believe in you!

Christ, they're doing that now? I guess this shows the amount of decay in Native Societies. I agree with you fully, and even though I don't have kids(16 :O) you old people need to get on the ball and start teaching your kids about STD's.

) but anyway, i think it is a good way to show that being safe is cool and that the community supports ndns in all aspects of health. it's no different than the pink shawl breast cancer awareness booths, the diabetes tables, just sometimes we let personal morals get in the way.
