It sounds like a mouthful! I take those moose sized vitamins too. I was looking at getting the organic powder ones. You take three scoops per day and mix them into your juice, soy milk, or water. But it's in liquid form, not pills. Here's a link:

I'm up to 15.5 pounds lost now!!!! Whoo hoo!!! Went and bought a new Pilates video yesterday cuz I can't find the one I used when I broke my foot last year. I want to see if that will make a difference in my measurements after 4 weeks of doing that regularly. It seemed like I just stalled at 12 pounds lost for a little over 3 weeks, now its coming off again. I played at the park with one of my girls yesterday for almost 2 hours and when I weighed this morning I had lost another half a pound. Only 7.5 pounds away from my first major goal.
Going to try to run today, and make sure I do my new video...lol. Last night I baked a package of chicken thighs and had them with lots of brocolli and cauliflower....brown rice and green beans for the girls, but I skipped the rice. |

i'm off to the gym for a couple of hours today. i've been working up to increase my cardio time. i also finally wised up and asked for help from one of the trainers to come up with a strength plan. i like to lift weights i'm just not very good about how many and how much and all that. 10 lbs gone in 4 weeks and i'm just making a committment one day at a time.

Everyone must be too busy being healthy to stop in here! LOL! Good job! If that's the case. Yup, sitting at the puter prolly isn't too healthy! My birthday dinner tonight will include salmon, garlic mashed potatoes and veggies at Champp's Restaurant. And then chocolate cake, of course!

Thanks for the birthday wishes!
Yes, not losing weight (or even gaining at first) is ok. Muscle weighs more than fat, but having more muscle is great. Muscle burns more fat. I've lost 44 pounds in about 2 years. I have 11 pounds to go. I'm in no rush whatsoever to reach my goal weight though. Your body gets freaked out when it loses weight and screams, "I'm dying!" So it tries to get that weight back on. My goal weight came from the BMI indicator. For my height, I did not want to be in the "overweight" category. Runnersworld.com has a BMI tool. You could google BMI to find others. Happy working out! |

I'm on my diet 2 days now with no cheating! Somehow I have to get it thru my head that cheating is unacceptable, or that if I cheat a little, it's no excuse to blow the rest of the day.
At 46, there aren't many more years I have to lose this extra chub!
