I gotta get in the swing of things again. Having company for 2 weeks, plus powwow - Shoshonean Reunion - 4th of July - working 10 hour days - babysitting some of the wildest grandkids EVER - really took a toll.

Last night I tried to walk and made maybe a mile. I did stick to my diet yesterday - I think eating more carbs has gotten to me too.

Had a veggie/egg breakfast and busted my vitamins out of the cupboard again. Filled up my water bottle, but forgot it.

At least I'm sticking to my Wednesday Walks. This will be my third Wed walking with the "club". It's a short walk, but at the end of the summer we get NIKE AIR NATIVES!!! Now THAT'S some motivation!

You two are doing great for exercise and shoes. What are the Nike Native shoes? I have a pair of white Fila running shoes. I wear a size 8 medium, but like a little bigger for exercise. What kind of vitamins are you taking? I take a Women's Mega vitamin. It has a complete amount of vitamins and minerals. I have about 20 pills left. I'd like to get a Green vitamin because it has more organics sources in it. Have you ever taken that?

Yesterday I walked two miles and did not pat a Boa Constrictor. I intend to do the same today.

I also did some housework today, which is supposed to be good exercise. I should do more of that.

I just finished weeding my little garden. I have two tomato plants and a lot of sunflowers. My daughter wanted the sunflowers. Unfortunately, I'm not sure which are the sunflowers and which are the weeds. I'll wait until they bloom, then take out the ugly ones.

That's a good way to weed your plants! Mine are in containers and what's nice is NO WEEDS! Of course they take more babying, but oh well.

As for vitamins, I like the Mega Women from GNC but until I can get back to a mall I'm taking WalGreens multivitamin...along with Ester C, Fish Oil, Turmeric (to prevent arthritis), CitriCal, and Osteo Bi Flex. Now I better get in the kitchen and actually TAKE THEM!

What a list of vitamins!! They'll keep you alive forever!! I bought some Soy vitamin that have evening Primrose, B vitamins, and Black Cohosh. Inside the box was a free sample of Acai tablets (2 of them). They would good to take for energy, and they are antioxidants that keep disease away. They would be best in juice. Happy Saturday !!

When I can afford it I buy a quart of Acai, Mangosteen and Gogi Juice. It costs about $25, but you just take a shot a day and it lasts about a month.

My friend swears by mangosteen juice, for reversing her rheumatoid arthritis, and I'm so scared to inherit that disease.

And by the way, I walked 1 mile and a half, took my vitamins, drank more water and have stuck to my diet so far today.

You are doing great with your exercise, vitamins, and diet. I am very proud of you.

I haven't bought the Acai yet, but it it what I want, too. It's around $25.00 here. So you get the one with all of the juices in it. I didn't know about the arthritis. I was reading a Puitan's Pride catalog that has it in there. Here's the link for it.

Today, I finally got the motivation to start a low carb diet. Right now I'm not feeling to well, feeling hungry, feeling quesy, feeling lethargic..... I did exercise this morning though and plan again tonight. I'm now on week 16 of excercsing on my Gazell....

That powwow wore me out too, timmy tiger! It was HOT!

I was good at the powwow. I didn't eat any fry bread or funnel cake, although I wanted to. I couldn't find any fry bread anyway. I ate the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on whole wheat that I brought with me, instead.

Yesterday I did some more weeding and yard work, and this morning I took another two-mile walk.

When you're starting low carb, be sure to eat and snack regularly so you don't get hungry.

You may get a "carb withdrawal" for a couple days, then you'll feel better. Especially when you see the pounds dropping off after a week. GOOD LUCK!
