I got invisalign too!...cept it dont hurt too bad anymore, used to hurt like all hell...but now they just pop on/off like nuffin. How much did they run you? I got a consultation and they quoted me one price that was good for sixty days...but I didnt know that, so I got like a complete overhaul on my teeth, root canals and the whole deal...then went back and it cost like 300 dollars more....
 ...So I was all DDDAAANNNGGGG!!!....whatta jip, but overall i'm glad I got em.

How pricey are the invisiline braces in comparison to regular braces.....I think I got an estimate of 4 1/2 - 5 thousand depending on the ortho for regular braces. If you don't want to post prices on this thread, pm me please because I am interested in if it is worth the bother; driving etc....

i had the regular braces. :D sported the colored bands N everything! :42: what sucked most was having to wear the retainer. not sure about invisalign, pretty sure they're more expen$ive than reg. a co-worker has regular braces but theyre white, u cant see 'em.

Yeah my aunt has dem and she's a smoker
so there not clear any more there just brownish-yellow. Yuck Me, I just got them regular train track braces Had them for about a year now When i first got them on it hurted so much! But now I'm used to it.

Don't even get me started on braces!! *L*
First of all... I wore them TWICE!!! *sigh* Each time I had them put on.. I had to have 4 teeth removed!! :Mad LOL I remember the pain, soreness, the stupid rubber bands, water piks, and dang wax!! *L* Now my daughter has them... the same regular ones I wore. (Heck if I'm gonna shell out for invisaligns.) *L* Her's are less bulky. They ran about 3500. Insurance paid only 1000. She's worn them for 20 months, and has another 4 months left! :D |

 so you say two times and each time they took 4 teef...so they took a total of 8 teef??? :Scared.... say it isn't so!!

Mine ran about $5000, plus like $180 for the initial "work-up". They said traditional braces would be about the same for my teeth.
I've had them a whole week now and doesn't hurt quite as bad, but still VERY UNCOMFORTABLE!!:( DAT1NDNGUY, how long have you had yours? I'm hoping to change sets every two weeks so it'll be less than the 18 months they told me. And I'm hoping that I get used to them and QUIT TALKING FUNNY!! |
