I remember Roy Track told a joke about L.A. being nicked named that because it stands for "Latinos" at a traditional powwow in SoCal. Actually, it was kinda funny, but still awkward because I'm not sure if he knew it or not, but there was (and from what I hear still is) an underground rift between bloods, mixedbloods and latinos posing as bloods. So, bottom line, only a few people laughed and those who didn't laugh couldn't really object publicily because it would make them look like wannabees. I admired him because he apologized for the joke anyway.

I know an MC who looks like he always wants to take that next step into forbidden territory but never does. He is crazy too. He's funny and I like him, although I don't think that counts for much. Can't remember his name does a lot of MCing in Pacific Northwest. I think his name is David Browneagle.

It would have shocked me too. He should have stopped at "our arena is sacred and it's been blessed." Then he could have added, "Please stop walking through the arena or leave!"

Woody Richardson always tells the same old lame jokes about the arena director or singers being gay. I've heard every brokeback mountain joke there is. After the first time it makes a person wonder.... you trying to tell us something?

One of my favorites my uncle came up with was:

"This is a drug, alcohol, and weapon free event. Anyone caught with drugs, alcohol, or weapons will be shot dead on the spot."

People know he was kidding so it was all in good fun.
