Best AD to work with....
Who would you say is the best AD you have worked with.....
My vote....Darryl Goodwill. The Navajo Nation Fair has use him as AD or head judge the last 4 years. And he has done an excellent job. He is kind, honest and fair and has a very good sense of humor. He treats everyone, kiddies to grandma's, with respect. As a powwow coordinator, I have complete faith in his advise and counsel. For us, he has saved the day several times. LOL He is well traveled and knows many dancers and singers, so there has not been any problems with protocal or discrepancies. |

Best AD I have ever worked with? Tough call!!!!
There are a good handfull of the top ones in my book. The latest would be a Cherokee guy by the name of Logan Steele out of "believe it or not", Ohio. This guy knows his stuff. He is just like the top guys out west. Easy to talk to, give you respect, does things in a good way, and really knows his stuff.

I working with and watching a good friend of mine Roger Crane, a Quapaw, from near Nevada MO. He works soooo smooth and effortlessly. Seems sometimes as if he isn't doing much until you take time to figure out all he just did and Right in front of you.

Tim Eashappie, he's done Schemitzun several times, Red Earth, Indio, Morongo, Prince Albert, Chakastaypasin, Saskatoon, and on and on. He's a whistle carrier, fair, knowledgable and doesn't hang out after in the bar, so he stays out of all that politics stuff.

I just returned from a dance in Springfield MO at the MO State Univ. NDN groups Powwow. I had the pleasure to meet and dance in Tim Tsoodles arena. He is a very nice and easy to know kind of man. I wanted to say thanks to Tim!
