West Virginia huh? Can't imagine traveling to that place
![]() I'll bet that movie Wrong Turn has done wonders for your state's tourism industry. Seriously, though, Virginia has a few good ones as well as the D.C. area...might be worth the drive to see something real.

Your response was to the point. I didn't see anything wrong in what you posted. Since you seem to be the tourist guide, tell me the bad news about Bell Gardens, CA, lol. |

my farewells
I dont think this place is for me.I thought joining this powwow website, i would meet nicer people than the outside world. I even though maybe i would meet a nice indian man..another crazy thought.Singerdad may have meant no harm with his joke..but i dont know him..and anytime you hear an insult about something you love, be your family, country,whatever...it can easily be taken as in insult, especially when its from someone you dont know.I asked him for his help because i miss the powwow's..and he was helpful..he also made me feel like the place i live has no importance. And so far, i havent made a friend yet...and i didnt join to make enemies or make people mad.So i think i will make like a bird and fly..bye.

I'm sure Singerdad ment no harm to your question. Trust me I have relatives in WV and I have heard it all. You might want to check into powwows in MD too. If it's not to far. MD has good ones, small, but good.

Hey young lady every pink cloud has it's silver lining.
talk to Mato Winyan. She would even know some of the other easterners. Sorry I can't help more than that I live in the West, West of the mighty Mississippi in Western Mo.

PinkC, If you are going to come onto an Indian website, you gotta understand Indian Humor. Sometimes you gotta have thick skin and laugh! "Sensitivity is not the norm here."

I was going to write exactly what WhoMe just did. Hey Pink Cloud, don't be so sensitive. There's not one person in here who hasn't been teased about where they live. Where do you think all the rez jokes come from? Just ease up and you'll have more fun. As for helping, I was trying to. You have to admit, your state is not exactly the hotbed for pow wows, and it's literally thousands of miles away from any part of Indian Country. Go to Virginia or D.C. and see something real. If not, stay in WV and see - well, you'll see
