Guess we shoulda told him that the primary reason most MCs say things like darn or golly or Holla is that we can't be heard to be using the words we really want to use S***, F*** or P***. He's not that dumb eh.

Once again I would like to thank all you good people for your words of wisdom. The Utah State University Pow-wow was a success. I didn't get kicked out or beat up....in fact I even got some more offers. The committee was pleased with the MC that they chose and I had too much fun and got the job done!

I found out you can't even say FSP cause people will ask what that means. I told them and then my mom got mad at me cause she said it was still swearing. I got in trouble and I was 40 at the time. My dad thought it was funny until my mom got mad at him too. I was glad cause she forgot about being mad at me. I am glad to hear that everything worked out well for you FF dude. What I was also told was that you never ask for a fee up front. The people will know how much it costs for you to travel to their community and if they are a small committee, they should at least try to reimburse you. All I ever ask for is a room so that I don't have to inconvenience anybody in their homes, because I always travel with my wife and kids. My wife does the little things like get me drinks and food. My children all dance and they like to have fun. Most of the time they never worry about placing cause they have fun dancing. I only ask that my room be paid for two days. If it ends early enough then I try to make it home. I have a full-time job so money isn't really an issue for me, its just an honour to be asked.
