more roach questions

1. for grass danceing what kinda spreader is used i see lots of different kinds and am gearing towards two feather holder style but hubby is more towards the two feather pivoting style...

2. on the roach hair around the end of the "tail" or not?

3. would it look funny if i extended a open end tail (not haired at the end) with beadwork?

1. Spreaders seem to based solely on personal preference these days - so go with what he digs.

2. Either way is fine - I prefer around the end.

3. Just fine - conjures up images of bull tails for me - which were a quilled strip that was attached to the roach for additional deco and were representative of certain accomplishments (and thus status) within different societies. You can research this more if you like, but there is a precedent for the look.

i to have a question about the roach of a grass dancer... a friend of mine doent know if he should have the antennas and feathers or just feathers or just antennas... what is more popular?....

Popularity is going to differ from place to place - one or the other though, please. Feathers and antennae at the same time would just be too much.
