porky roach size
oki,
How does one measure to get the right size roach? top middle of head to just above shoulder blades? looking for sizes for a toddler (age 1) and youth (age 7) thank you Donna |

Sounds like pretty good measurement points to me - although I tend to like the shorter tear drop or round shaped roaches. Which leads me to me next thought - which is pure opinion.
And for the lil guy, I'll pitch the idea of a plain old deer tail roach - as in a split, cleaned, and based (on a stiffer yet flexible material) deer tail - and maybe a single feather of a tasty-eatin' bird sort. for the little one use a 12"-15" and the older boy use a 15-18". This way you are not having to buy a roach again for a while. There is enough growing room in those sizes to prevent having top purchase again in a few years.
