Scalp feathers? there are a few terms. "Heluska feathers" would be the term I learned. Heluska is the dance, hence the feathers are "Heluska feathers"

whatever floats your boat, its grasss dance.

unless you are talking OLD time.

Historian could probably add a page or two here.
