toddler grass outfit

I have one week to make my son's grass outfit and I am in need of some help.

Is there an easy way to make one? Is there an online pattern or something?
How much yarn would I need? He's only about 30lbs and 36inches tall and he's going to be two.

Please, please please help! He's coming out during my grandma's memorial/powwow/dinner....

lets see if i can help.

All my little guys started out in grass as far as how much yarn im not much help from here , We just strung yarn for ever it seemed like and had a nice long sting of it and placed as we went and sewed and snipped where it stopped and started again in another place a bit confusing i know we just basicly eyed it .If you are doing a cape measure around the cape and aprons and you could judge from that my oldest son had a shirt and aprons his shirt had yarn across his chest and across his sholders ,for that we just measured where we would be placing fringe. As far as pattern we made our own so im of no help there. He did not have all the things the big guys have so it did not take as long to make, we add on as they grow. My good friend made a vest for her grandsons grass with matching aprons he looked sharp and under it she put a white dress shirt.and he was almost two at the time. Hope I have helped.

I made a few kids outfits with bandanas that have prints on them.

i did a sponge bob one and a taz one. just cut the bandana diagonally and you have front and back aprons. do the same for the yoke or get creative.

you can make a basic outfit in a metter of a few hours.

for the yarn or ribbon, i cut it all, lined it up on wonder under, irond it, ran a stitch on the sewing machine and than sewed it onto the bandanas.
