Grass dancing with a vest

What is everyone's opinion of grass dancers wearing a vest instead of the usual shirt with fringe? I like the look. Give me some feedback please.

I have only seen a few of these, and only 1 that looked good. I did like that one. He had beaded armbands and cuffs; the cuffs had the usual fringe. I think the main thing is, this focuses most of the movement of the dancer into the legs and really helps to pronounce the style. At the same time, I like fringe so cape/shirt = more fringe = me like.

As with everything it is a matter of personal taste, construction skill, and dancing ability.

Well I think its alright to break away fromt he usual and have seen some pretty cool vests. Traditionally the dance was doen without upper chest covered so maybe usual is a oximoron.

I have never seen any one with a vest but I think it would look cool with one. Me personal I still like it with a cape or shirt.
