Holsters

How have you tried putting them on? Mine are just sewed to my belt. Just don't get fat or they'll shift on ya cause your belt won't fit.

Ah

I misread your question. When I made mine, I beaded, backed, edged, then sewed the fringe on. Course I used antelope fringe for my holsters but the idea is the same. Just sew the fringe on the back after everything else is done. No one is gonna see the back anyway.

mmmmmm kinda confused on your question here. Are you having problems with sewing the fringe on because it keeps slipping off due to the satin? All I got was that something was slipping....ayeeee. LOL. Kidding. Well I do alot of sewing with the slipperiest fabrics and the best way I have found to keep something down while sewing is by 'mounting' your yarn or whatever first. Meaning, there are special fabric glue sticks you can use or adhesive sprays that won't gum up your needle when you sew and it washes out. I use it alot and it really helps keeping your fabric or whatever in place until you sew it down. You also may come down to it, to actually hold down the piece you are sewing with one hand and just manually turning the knob (not using the pedal) with the other-to start it off so it will go slow...but it works. I hope I got to answer your question or least help with part of it.
