How do I start grass dancing?

How do I start learning how to grass dance? And how do I start my dress? If anyone could help, that would be great!

Si-Yo,
The best thing that you can do is go to alot of powwows and pay close attention to the grass dancers. If they will allow it, take some pictures, but don't rip off their desings as some could be special or things from just that family. If you see them outside of the circle and want to talk to them, give them some tobacco and then ask a couple of questions. Most dancers will be more than glad to help you out on your way to the journey of the powwow trail.

First of all you might want to consider making a grassdance outfit and not a DRESS!!!

first of all you have to watch a video about grassdancers and see how they move learn there steps. then when you are done with that you make your own style.
