Looking for a Teacher in Northern CA

Hi,

I have just moved to Northern Califronia. I live between San Fransico and Sacramento. I am a new guy just getting into dancing. Due to my job transfer, from the east, I lost my contacts / Teacher. Does anyone know of anybody in the area that is teaching or willing to teach? Thank you so much for your info.

Respectfully,
Brian C.

Ah ok. Really. See I told you I was new. lol
The contact I had in NJ was going to show me the basics.

I have talked with a few folks at the pow wows I have been too, but I never really asked them about how they got started. Silly sounding I know. Go figure. Thanks for the info. Can you tell me is there a set standard or a foundation for regalia of the differnet styles? If so is there someplace I can find these standards? Or is that too something I would just ask another dancer? I guess I am looking for a starting point more than anything. Your info that you gave is a good place to start. :) Thank you.

Respectfully,
Brian C.
