Beaded fringe over the eyes.

In many historical photographs and even today, beadwork fringe has and is seen hanging below the headband covering the eyes of grass dancers.

Does this have any specific tribal symbolism or significance? Or can anybody wear it?

the-grass-punk is an unknown quantity at this point
i think anyone can wear it once i borrowed my friends headband and he had fringe and i was dancin and it nailed me right in the eye

It is said by one great chieftan to another lol that they use the beaded fring so they cannot be recognized just like how the F.B.I. where glasses lol :P Naw im juss kidding It looks snazzy to have the fringe in the Eye Ball and everything lol
