roach headdress for grassdance

I have a son who is 10yrs old and is getting ready to start GrassDancing. My question is since his dad is white and not into native traditions who or where would I have the roach made? A friend is making the rest of his regalia other than the roach and the moccasins. I would apperciate any help.:Angel2

Aside from powwowbum, there are a lot of places you can buy a pre-made roach. You can even order them custom from some of the places. Crazy Crow, Buffalo Chips(although I am not sure they are in business any more), Noc Bay, and plenty of others. But, I suggest from what I have seen, Powwowbum49 might be a better bet.

I gotta say bum can rip out some hella nice roaches. Specially the monster that he wears. Does good work and has some good prices.

Indianloving1: Powwowbum49 is both an excellent roachmaker and an honest person. He can make anysize roach and any color. That is why so many champions are wearing his products. At one time he sold to several of the Indian outlets.

No, I didn't read it in a old Ben Hunt book at the dentist's office.

I have three of his roaches. One is the mate to the "Frankinstein" that he wears. My roach is called, "the bride of Frankenstein!"
