Calling all Gourd Dancers near Tulsa, OK
Gourd dancers and dancers of all styles are invited to participate in the Thrid Annual Native Justice Powwow on Friday, February 29 in Tulsa, OK!
The Native Justice Powwow is sponsored by the Universityof Tulsa College of Law's Native American Law Center and Native American Law Student Association. The purpose of the powwow is to honor outstanding individuals contributing to the field of Indian law and Native justice. This year's official honorees are the attorneys of Oklahoma Indian Legal Services. Gourd Dancing will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Head Gourd Dancer Chuck Choney. The Native Justice Powwow will be held on the University of Tulsa Campus in the Mabee Gym. For more event details, see our listing on the powwows.com and nativegatherings.com calendars.
