Shoot all this talk bout NDNcorn... I think will go and get me some copes and roast and hook it up! My grandma told me how they used to make it back in the day(pre Copes) they use to let the corn off the cob with punkin dry in the sun for days and then they hooked it up.... she said the flys would get it but they didn't care... it was on!!! oh yea and some frybread to go with it!

i think you guys forgot sumthin in the whole gourd dance thing.........
the ladys CAN dance, but they have a blue and red shawl and they dance behind the men, they do not move with the men, they stay behind and jsut bend their knees, but when the men start moving around, the ladys just kinda walk in place, it's confusing kinda of, but if you see what i'm talking about, you'll get it. any of you guys ever hear of LIHA and the LIHA pow-wow up in Sandborton New Hampshire? HUGE pow-wow, gourd dancing on sunday, and an absolutly OUTSTANDING night session, but the odd thing, most night sessions have what we call "49 er's", but LIHA has it like it's a usual pow-wow during the day, yet theirs is at night, they have the Grand Entry and everything, it's really fun, you should go sumtime. |

ILpws: How big is your "HUGE pow-wow" in New Hampshire? I actually consider a 49 in New Hampshire odd. What do they do at the LIHA 49?
