how can u tell a buckskin dress just by lookin at it?

You really can't I have seen what I thought were beautiful buckskin dresses and when I got close they were actually fabric.

HUH? I've yet to see a fabric dress that was mistaken for buckskin... There's not a fabric in the world that looks or moves exactly like buckskin. The closest I've seen is ultrasuede. And I've seen buckskin dresses with a beaded cloth upper making it more a hybrid kinda dress than truly one or the other, but it still has the buckskin fringe and skirt ...
