well right now i just bought the beads for the fan handle going to start with the hardest part and then if he has time im gonna have my ex do the fan for me. if not, im on my own.
i already have the macaw feathers, need to buy a blank fan handle and deerskin. never sewn beads on derrskin im using 12 mixed with 9's would i use nymo a thread or switch to different size of thread? useing size 12 sharps |

You can also do the handle in peyote beadwork Osage_jingle. That might be faster, if you are use to doing that type of beadwork. If you are going to do flat stitch applique, you might want to try doing your beadwork on lap pad instead of buckskin.
