The "Make a Wish" Thread

Let's try something a little different, since the economy is in such a mess and a lot of folks are having a "tough time".
Is there something that you really, really want or maybe even need - that you know you cannot afford. Or is there something you need and can't afford at the moment. Let's make a list.......... I'll go first - can be serious, real needs and wants or something out of the blue.....Let's use or imaginations and see if we can get something else going on here.

I sew for dancers, all styles and ages, would love to have an embroidery machine and a never ending stock of materials - broadcloth, satin, fringe, thread, beads and supplies. Around here you have to go all over the state to get the items you need for one simple project and then your selection is limited. I have a houseful of dancers so trade is always an option. My fantasy list would be: big house in the country, horses, ultimate pow-wow wagon, PAYING customers, relatives that aren't looking for family prices, folks that know what quality work is worth, thicker skinned people that don't get their feelings hurt so easy and more laughter than tears...........Ahhh, in a perfect world!

On a spiritual note... I wish for my children to learn more about our ways than me

On a worldly note... I wish for peace and understanding in the world

Oohh, this is a fun question, goot one. You know those commericals they used to have for high-speed internet? Like the one with the cards, where the guy pours that high-speed on his hands and makes a pagoda? (I laugh every time that guy says, "itsapagoda" - gaahh, that's so funny for some reason). I'd wish some of that to use when I'm beading, and finally get some stuff done!

Cant wish for my Daughter to come live with me, thats been met

But I can wish for all my Family and Friends to have Good Health

Ok and...
Enough Money to go on a Dream Powwow Tour during the Summer
Hit all the big ones and little ones accross the country
That would include camping and just enjoying the whole experience
Of course our good Friends: Momma P and Papa P would have to come
No excuses and expenses Paid!!!

my wish is to have a child of my own or to be able to adopt within the tribe.. but that would also have to include being financially secure enough to afford a lawyer to handle the adoption...
Also... I wish for beads... TONS of beads... beads coming out my eyeballs... and leathers, threads and needles galore... and backing supplies... just all beading supplies coming out my eyeballs...than I'd truly be a happy little girl LOL

Val and Josiah, we second that wish! Would love to make a dream tour with you guys. Hopefully there WILL be alot of camping and time together, lots of good times. Am wishing now to get through this tough spot with the sitter and finances so I can have my life back.

I too am wishing for a never ending trail of supplies, materials, machines, leather, silver, hides, beads and then to top it off time to work it all up.

Can't wish for better friends though - already have them....and you know who you are!
