O.k., see if I can figure out how to ask alla this, Im a Fancy Shawl Dancer, and am not very good at making leggins - well, atleast not how I would like to make them. I made a pair with the zipper up the front, and they turned out O.K. not the greatest, but, they fit. Anyways, I went today and picked up some pellon, and am wanting to attempt to make another pair, but, this pair is for an outfit that I am making to sale (maybe) - I have really tiny ankles/calves, so, I know my size leggings wont work for alot of women. So, I guess my question is, what is the most common measurements for leggings (fancy shawl style) with the zipper up the front. And how do you make them with the ties up the front instead of the zipper? I know the legging tapper into a kinda V shape - bigger at the calve, smaller at the ankle, but, what would be the better measurement to use? (that most ladies could wear) Any clues?
