Boozhoo....
How do you want your Drum to be on the stand? Do you want it to sit down flat on the stand or do you want it suspended from the handles? I have made both styles and they have worked out very well. I would be happy to email you a sketch of them if you would like.

I made my drum stand from the same wood I used for the Drum. Its white cedar. Sorry Campfire, I didn't send you the photo you have there. I will send you a photo sometime today.

Hey Campfire... did you get the pictures I emailed to you? That of course is the stand to sit the Drum down flat. The stand we made to suspend the Drum is exactly the same design except it had 1 inch holes bored into the top of the uprights of the stand and we inserted 1 inch diameter "staffs" into those. The staffs have a peg going thru them horizontally that we tie the handles of the Drum around to suspend it at what ever height you want it to be at. I can send you pictures of that too if you would like.

We used 1 x 4's on that stand. White cedar. We glued and nailed 3 boards together to make it as wide as we wanted. If you look really close you can see that its 3 boards joined together.
