It's the week after Christmas and I'm just getting over my chocolate overdose. The after Christmas sales are a great time to get sparkly tinsel for bustle streamers. The local Wal-mart here had some for 80% off in silver and metalic red. Also the Paper Warehouse has some in gold, silver, royal blue, red, green, purple and a bright teal (beautiful!) The 1/4 inch wide tinsel works much better than the spaghetti thin ice-sikle type. It's a cheep way to add some real flashy sparkle to your bustles. It can even be added to existing bustles to give them a new look. And don't add a bunch, just about 3-6 strands per feather, it looks better when used with flagging tape, ribbon, or horse hair.
