What does everybody keep their bustles in when not in use or traveling to a dance?

I have seen some fancy wood octagnal feather boxes and some metal trash can lookin things. What do you use?

I roll my bustles up and hang them in a garment bag or either a large black trash bag. The black bag helps keep the hackles from fading from sunlight when in the car. I don't keep them in a box... just careful with them and usually lay them on top of everything else.

I also use trash bags as but more as luggage. I just throw all my stuff in it and go. I never thought about throwing my bustle in one. Thanks for the tip.

i use a rubbermaid tub to carry all my stuff
i have one for my outfit and one for my bustles
it makes the car trip much easier because they'll stack on top of each other
if only my feather box would do that :)

I use the trash bags more as a makeshift garment bag. Just cut a small hole in the bottom of the bag and over the primary laces of the bustles, then you can hang them by the laces and they'll be covered by the bag. I have a large rubbermaid tub to put my outfit in, but I have flagging tape on my bustles. I don't know if you've ever worked with that stuff or not, but it looks good when its straight. It wrinkles bad though. That's why I leave my bustles hanging.

personally i split my top and bottom bustle into 4 all together and i indivisually roll each one then put them all in a big beacg towel on top of all my stuff in my regalia box, it works!
