Who holds the record for most? Woogie Watchetaker, Billy McClellan? Just curious. Does anyone have a listing of all of the winners since the first contest? That would be cool to see.
uncle bill has to be it!

_______

I think George (Alexander) has the most recent wins.

But it would be interesting. . . .

Throw Rudy New Moon, Elmer Brown, Pee Wee Clark, Randy Moore and R.G. (Harris) into the pot. Each has won it more than once.

Yes, you retire after 4 wins. RG won his several years ago. But, I can't hold anything against any of the fancy dancers who want to go back into that arena. The spirit there is awesome. I can remember Sidney Moore, Jr. and Johnny Whitecloud going at it there. (no, I am not that old, just remember that contest really clear as a kid) Remember the Murie Boys, Randy Moore Norman Newrider, David Moore and of course Elmer Brown. The new champions coming up are awesome too. That is one place where fancy dancy is almost a religion it is so awesome. When you win that arena....you are the fancy dance champ. That crowd will let you know just how good you are and that drum will make you dance, and get the best of you if it can. That is who you compete against anyways, the drum.

Actually, Tuffy made the final's this year and stopped to soon
or overstepped and by his own choice, took his self out.
Exemplifing true sportmanship.
