Disrespecting our people On Live TV

RED EYE W/ GREG GUTFELD last night had this live on National TV. As he was talking about a school Administrators in seattle Washington were being told that Thanksgiving is a Day of Mourning . He was laughing and asked a fellow co-worker Micheal "Aren't they simply whining at this point"

He went on talking to "Courtney Freil" telling her that the people celebrating this "Day of Mourning" say that the "Pilgrims were jerks" "But there's nothing we can do about it, it's over"

Courtney's response was " Look, this guy went through all lengths for me not to have my turkey and wine, but, he's just a hater, and this was a long time ago and this is 2007, and it's my friday night and i get for days off for thanksgiving and I'm excited about it"

GREG GUTFELD goes on to speak and asks Kevin Godlington "Doesn't progress require one more advanced culture coming in and taking over a more primitive culture, didn't we do them a favor Right?" And his response was, well watch it, it pissed me off.

But not as much as the last two people.

He starts talking to Bill Schulz. This guy pissed me off when he said and I quote "Because I personally don't celebrate genocide Greg, I do like to dress up as a Pilgrim and allow Native Americans to sodemize me, I feel it's sort of cathartic for them, makes me feel better for myself, and if i video tape it and sell a couple of copies, whats the bother right there" He goes on to say "Nah, I think this is stupid, sure we gave them pestilence and disease, but we also gave them the wheel, they didn't come up with that themselves, and they turned it into a little roulette wheel with all their little casinos and made a bundle of money, everyone wins Greg"

But the most disgraceful part of all was when he starting talking to Rachel Sterling. She says "However, I'm Native American, I'm Apache. And nothing is going to keep me away from my mash potatoes, gravy and turkey, end of story"

What kind of "Native Women" listens to these A'Holes , says what she says as if she is condoning what they said, allowing them to disrespect and disgrace her own people. Some proud Apache Women she is, A BIG F'ING, NOT. I, myself, would have been so PISSED OFF they would have to KILL my mic because of what I would have had to say.

So I say we all send them a little email to let them know how disrespectful they were. How they need to ask forgiveness like Duane "The Dog" Chapman - The Bounty Hunter is now.

Support me in bashing these "First Nation" bashers. This was on FOX News Nov. 19th, 2007.

well for me why are they still talking about it if we should just forgive and forget there the ones that braught it up and are starting the trouble LOL. But none the less it made me laugh to see an over weight dude and a couple of girls or was that one a dude too sounded like a girl you know the one that was talking about pilgrims

anyways they would never say that in person just like a scared dog Loud bark in the distance but up close sucks his tail in and wags it. Anyways i would have to believe that them people have no beliefs why i say that is because if they did they would respect are beliefs

thats what makes me believe they have no prayer in ther life so tonight when i go to bed i will pray that they have a good life ahead of them and that they won't be lonely no more and that they have a happy thanks giving!

I went and watched and then promptly sent a complaint to the show. It is just disgusting they would allow this on TV.

I went a step further. I sent a copy of the link to the video and my accompanying comments to CNN. I'm sure they would just love an excuse to "out" their rival on this.

That whole conversation made me ill, and that Apache apple on their is sure due some bad medicine for her lame comments.

Right on! I am doing the same right now. I was so disgusted. I cant believe how blatantly people are still allowed to disrespect the native people still in 2007. We need to get more organized and pump our fists a lil harder. We must be heard I'm so tierd of this being tolerated!

I know in Canada we have the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council, I wonder if there is something similar in the US? where you can send complains about TV programming etc

The Federal Communication Commission regulates TV/Radio communications. Their website is Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Home Page. It would be worth filing a complaint with them, too.

At least if I say something or do something I stand behind what I do or say. They seem to have taken the video off their web page and deleted it from their archives...I SAY WHAT A BUNCH OF COWARDS!!!

I checked the link this morning and this video is still viewable on the Fox website, I collected over 125 letters of concern over this as well as had 3 phone converstations with the people at Fox News, I encourage others to call in as well to voice their concerns. I am also filing a complaint with the FCC on this matter, I strongly encourage other to pursue this issue as well.
