Business Of Fancy Dancing

I finally got a chance to watch this movie.

It was OK.

Smoke Signals was amazing, but this one was just a regular movie.

Anyway, in the special features on the dvd Sherman talks about how he is not satisfied with it becuase he rushed it to get to Sundance. THAN he rushed it for distribution.

WTF!!!

I can understand getting it to Sundance, but why rush to distribution and than TELL US you arent satisfied and will eventually re-do it?

Do we get a refund for the rushed DVD production when we buy the NEW AND IMPROVED one?

I hate when the big companies put out directors cuts and include different things on the widescreen and standard copies. Than when a sequel comes out they only sell it in the box set so you have to pay more and get duplicate dvds.

Its pretty funny. Its like they enter a different state of mind.

I sometimes find myself doing in certain company, not much tho, it just happens.

Its like when I see someone do something that I cant stand and later I catch myself doing that same thing.

I never liked the movie, or the book. After I found out it's written by a Non-First Nations writer who hates Natives...I like the cast. Oh well.

Please shuck my earlier comment, I was spaced and was thinking of "Dance Me Outside." I enjoyed the book "business of Fancy Dancing" and the movie.
