All is well on the Lake called Michigan ,
the jelloed waves creak and crack easing winter's grip The water deep walks await the drains whose shaded slumbers have suppressed the dawn. The muddied gutters and salt stained streets stretch forth beneath the welcome rays They shed their tattered holiday coats To reveal forgotten chores and whisk away an hour's sleep as the sun Springs forth once more.
