I am assuming you are wanting to learn how to Loom 'bead', cause there are many forms of bead work and learning to bead leaves things pretty wide open. Have you looked at the thread listed above called introduction to Loom beading by Spottedeagle. This is just what you are looking for in the way of help. Try reading that thread, then if you have more questions fell free to fire away.

Yep I know I'd be glad to help you out if you have any questions. Another one to ask about loom work is Beadman. Haven't seen him around lately though.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the input . I broke out my beading loom yesterday and just jumped right in and made a bracelet. I didn't take it off the loom yet. I did a pretty easy pattern. I will post the pic in the gallery. I very much liked doing it so I think I will become a beadaholic
so I went and searched online for supplies and found seed beads I think for a reasonable price and also a native bead pattern book on ebay.ok I rambled on enough So thanks EVERYONE |

Glad to have you joining the rest of us beadaholics!!!!
I am glad I was able to help someone else out. Lord knows there have been plenty of people who have helped me learn more than I imagined when I started 2 years ago.

I bought like 15 packs of beads...all different colors, and some are the see thru ones...i am not too fond of those. but i work with them. hmm. i think i might need to talk to someone about my bead loom. I use sinew to make all my jewelry and on my bead loom, i am having trouble in the beginning getting it threaded. (i had to teach my self by looking at a book) so it never taught me how to start the threads. anyone have a clue about what i am talking about? halfthe time i dont even know what i am saying! lol

I said yesterday I think in this post I had gotten some seed beads size 10/0 multicolored that I payed 23.00 for well they just came and the bag filled a butter dish the dish says 7oz. on it and it filled it to the rim. so I think that was a good deal. I got them on-line from www.auntiesbeads.com in the beads by bulk. |
