........this was a good powwow, the people treated us very good, very hospitable......beautiful area, the drum groups were all jammin', i got some good recordings lol.........they finished the powwow early and feed everyone before they left........congrats to all the winners
i dont remember all the winners but nothern singing contest 5th-blackbear crossing mens traditional 18-34 2nd-ardell scalplock (won the mens tradish special) 5th-mj bull bear mens fancy 35-49 1st-dwight white buffalo (tie) 2nd-larry yazzie teens boys tradish 1st-albert hindsley 2nd-gary richards jr 5th-adakin (sp) hindsley mens fancy 18-34 tonch st. john took 1st or 2nd spike draper 5th- chaske heminger jr. girls fancy 1st-sierra cleveland 2nd-aspen bell (way to go girl, i knew u could do it) sorry thats all i can remember............

Had fun there, as usual. Even had fun dancing, even though it was a very hot pow-wow. I don't remember all the winners. I know that Thunderhill(I think that is the drum, could be wrong) took first in southern and Southern Comfort took second. can't remember third place. It was a really good pow-wow. The sun fried my brain. LOL
