and lo and behold
we have 25 pages worth of thoughts
going back to 6/25/2001

WOW

so what were you doing when Paul G popped this website up here?

How many of you actually come on here each day or at least once a week.....?

what was the worst topic you saw?

what was the best?
(IN cloth dancing not the rest of the areas)

Let's see I knew someone that was already a subscriber to pw.com, and she got me hooked into it.... been here ever since!!!

Hi Okwataga!

I can't remember what I was doing when Paul started this website. I didn't have either internet or even a working computer in 2001. I found this website in November of 2007 when I was doing genealogy research and needed information. It seemed like a good place to post a question.

I generally come here at least once a day, after checking my email, just to see if there is anything new.

I don't have any idea which is the worst topic. I have found most of them helpful or informative, but your two "New/Old-Style Cherokee dress" threads are my favorites.

thanks neling - i've enjoyed the talk about the Crow woman's dress, I would really not like to have one of those ladys after me...
Meet a Crow she was Park Ranger at Little Bighorn, she was very nice, invited us to come back for pow wow that was happening that weekend.... tried to tell my boys she'd introduce them to Miss No Ear... hehehehe

I've been on this site since 2000. So long ago I forgot how I found it. Probably randomly net surfing or looking for info on local powwows. Its amazing how so much information is now instantly available. Wasn't that long ago when all there was were a few outdated books from the library, lol! We've come a long way. I enjoy most of the threads on here and though I am a seasoned dancer and craftsperson, there is still a heckuva lot I don't know. I log on once a day to once a week depending on how active things are.
