So I have been researching the wool broadcloth styles since my first outfit was super tradish in color (navy blue) and adornment (deleuim shells). But find little info on the N. Cheyenne dresses, buckskin or cloth. My aunt suggests just sticking with ideas from the Lakota styles (long sewn sleeve, tabs that hang down from main dress body) since they were intermarried. My next project is a purple wool broadcloth outfit that I was thinking of having an open 3/4 sleeve and adorning with bone elk teeth, which by the way fire mountain beads and gems sells them pretty cheap in mass quanitity compared to crazy crow. Any suggestions on wool broadcloth styles or resources you recommand? Thanks.

Not sure if this is a reply but actually I just wanted to know if you are wearing a elks teeth buckskin dress do you wear a breastplate or not? I have seen some women wearinng a breastplate with this style and then I have seen some who dont so what is the proper protocol.?
