I would like to know how i can get a northern style cloth dress made I cant seem to find anyone who does them!

Do you have a picture? I honestly don't know the difference in the cloth styles.

Missouri River has a pattern for a northern style cloth dress. I have no idea if it is any good.

I know, that is one thing that this website does not have is this category seperated from Northern and Southern. Both Cloth and Buckskin, need to be seperated in this site. I some times browse through the site in buckskin and cloth, and the majority of the pix in cloth are southern.

Have you tried looking at pow wow time.com? There are pix of cloth dresses there and all those pix are from the Northwest area. Good luck!

What tribal style are you looking for?

The Missouri River pattern is okay but is limited to Lakota, Cheyenne and maybe Crow styles, if I remember right.

know of one lady on here who does just that. She makes tailor made cloth outfits. She dances northern cloth so maybe she can help you out. Hit me back and I can hook you up.
