Tribal preferences in ribbonwork

Those nations that have adopted ribbonwork into their traditional dress have various ways of showing tribal identity either by the placement of the ribbonwork and/or the types of designs used. Let's see how many different ones we can list....

For starters....

Oklahoma Lenape/Delaware: a wrap-around skirt with a ribbon panel down the right side. Simple geometric ribbon designs.

Osage: A wrap-around skirt folded over at the waist with ribbon panels on the left side. Mainly geometric ribbon motifs.

What others can we name???

Ponca ribbonwork is a panel down the front of the skirt and the skirt doesn't have any tucks/pleats.

Pawnees also use ribbonwork in their skirts. I believe theirs is mainly floral style.

Otoe ribbonwork is floral style.

I have some old skirts from when my mom was princess (60s?) and they have matching cloth leggings. Her broadcloth skirt had ribbonwork that she wore to the side and not down the front like u see today. Her skirts had ribbonwork that went all the way around.
