Tallest Crown?

I was just looking through the galleries and noticed some unusually TALL crowns.

Who has the tallest crown that you've seen?

(is it taller than the Pope's *L)

I was kinda wondering if they eventually hurt or cause head aches?

That is a lot of weight with, the beads, rhinestones, backing and such.

What about strong winds? *L j/k

Yeah some chicks have gone CAH-RAZZZY with the heights of their crown!! My sis had made a purple crown some years back and it was too tall.. she wore it once or twice and then sold it.

Kinda reminds me of growing up in Texas and the cowboy belt buckles... dinner plates to hub caps!

Heck I always liked the old school headbands those ladies wore once upon a time!

Chilimama is an unknown quantity at this point
Hey, I've seen tiny tot girls with crowns that are pretty tall. Some are taller than my friends, and they're adults.

Not yet WhoMe. But some of the crowns often remind me of the flying nun. One wind, a slight tilt, little help with the hand for directional course setting and off they go. They're just two big.

Its like everything is made huge on the outfits these day, hairties longer to the belt, necklaces that look like a breastplate, etc. Beadwork on dresses along the shoulder that look like military epulets(msp). Too big.

It would be nice to see things more proportional these days. Sometimes it just looks to Amazonian.

Red s,

Do you think if this trend continues, southern women's buckskins will resemble northern women's buckskins and ....

southern women's crowns will resemble a beaded helmet?
