Build Your Own Dress

Barring all tribal restraints, if you could "build" your own dress, what would it be like?

Mine would be one of those cool Crow dresses, a Kiowa belt set and boots, otters on my braids, hair ties and a barette, a turtle shell purse, and a macaw fan.

I was just talking about something like this the other day with my friend.

This is just for fun!
Me being KIOWA if I were to build my own dress the top half would be navajo style, bottom half would be jingle dress style with apache leggings, white man's belt, and a cedar cap like the Muckleshoot's wear with a big eagle feather sticking straight out(UP) of back of it(like I was a princess).
Oh, yeah and a big turkey feather fan and a face full of war paint.
I would never, ever try to do this for real. I know who I am and how I should dress.

I agree, ya gotta luv tha war paint! I know how I should dress and not to mix styles, but it's fun to imagine.......it would sure be interesting if everyone did mix them, though!
