Okay everyone...which is your preference?
I have both, but my mocs I wear with broadcloth leggins! *L*

i love leggins but sometimes I think mocs would be much cooler during the summer when it's freakin hot as crap out!

So which do you prefer with your cloth outfit?

What I wear depends on which regalia I am wearing. I wear my moccs if I am wearing a long skirt. In Winter I wear my mocc boots. If I am wearing something that doesn't cover most of my legs, then I wear my leggins!

what are moc boots???

When I refer to Mocs I mean...the kind that hit right above yer ankle bone and the have the flaps that fold down on the sides.
Leggins..I mean the kind that you stick yer foot into and tie up the sides and tie up top. On my mocs though, I have broadcloth leggins that you put on and the put the mocs on over the leggins....so they look like they are tucked into the moc.

That's what I meant by mocs vs leggins! :)

I personally wear both(leg/moc) all the time , made out of leather, not cloth(leggins) havent' really noticed being hot in the leggins though.

does you moccs/ leggins represent your tribe? like - do you have fringe off the back of your moc - to cover your step/trail? you nkow little things like that,nbot necessarily the beadwork design stuff.

both sets of my leggins are representative of my tribe. beadwork wise the designs are the style my tribe uses. I have conchos that go down the side of the buckskin leggins.
But no fringe or anything.
my broacloth i have no design b/c i had them made where the band goes down the side. the mocs just have the beaded medallion and beads around the flaps.

of couse my broadcloth leggins match my broadcloth skirt which I had embroidery done on it.

I have some moccasin boots that go up to my knees. I just call them moc boots! I have mocs that are at my ankle. My leggins I put my feet & legs in and they are secured with elastic at the top. They go over the top of my mocs so you cant see all of my mocs.

You'd think with technology and advancements in clothing...that we could find a pair of leggins you didn't have to break your neck to strain to tie exactly down the sides and some that would just stay up......so we didn't have to tie em up !!!! *L*

We need to find shortcuts where they'll help
